Lying on the north east coast of Corfu, nestling in the foothills of Mount Pantokrator, this typically Greek village is a gem of a get-away and is ideal for families and children. With a mountainous coastline, Nissaki is essentially a small fishing village boasting a small, pretty horseshoe-shaped shingle beach which is excellent for swimming, bathing and watersports. A winding road from the main village with its shops and a church leads down to a quaint, cosy cove where you will find snack bars and a couple of tavernas serving refreshing drinks and local dishes. Plus there's a local shop for your daily essentials. Nissaki is within short walking distance to nearby Barbati with its pebbled beach, restaurants and bars, and Kaminaki and Krouzeri Beach. |
